Zakat On ASB Savings

Short answer
For Selangor payers who pay ASB zakat themselves, zakat is 2.5% of the ASB balance that meets nisab and haul, the same method as savings. The nisab for July to December 2026 is RM38,748 (Lembaga Zakat Selangor).
