2. Why We Collect This Information

To calculate the zakat amount due, based on current Lembaga Zakat Selangor rates and nisab.
To process your zakat payment and ensure it reaches the official Lembaga Zakat Selangor account.
To issue an official zakat receipt for LHDN tax rebate purposes. This receipt requires your name, identity card number and address, as set by LHDN and LZS.
To contact you about your payment status or receipt, where necessary.

3. How We Share Your Information

Your zakat payment information is shared with Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS), as the official recipient of the zakat, and with Billplz to process the payment transaction. We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. How We Store Your Information

Information you submit is stored in BayarZakat2u’s database for payment records, receipt issuance, and follow-up if an issue arises with your payment. We take reasonable steps to protect this information from unauthorised access.
